Anaconda is 7-Card Stud with all cards down. All players look at their cards, and a round of betting occurs, starting with the player to the dealer's left. Then, all players pass three cards to the player on their left, receiving three from the right. Another round of betting occurs, then all players pass two cards to the player two people to their left. Bet, then pass a final card to the player on their right. Then a final round of betting.

If a player folds, then that player is no longer counted as to whom cards are passed.

Variations

You can alter the number of cards passed and to whom.

Jokers can be used as Wild cards. We've used them as Wild, but with "must pass" rules, and even recently tried a "Go Fish" variation - the player with a Joker can request of any player a card of any particular rank (not suit). If that player has it, they must give it up and get a replacement card from the deck. If not, the calling player replaces the Joker from the deck.
